April 8, 2021 – We are offering both in person and telehealth appointments. Covid 19 restrictions still apply. For those who wish to schedule a telehealth appointment, we use either FaceTime or doxy.me. Please contact the office to schedule your appointment and receive instructions about how to access our virtual waiting room.
December 22, 2020 – The office will be closed for the Christmas holidays on Thursday, December 24, and Friday, December 25, 2020. We will reopen on Monday, December 28, 2020.
November 25, 2020 – The office will be closed for the Thanksgiving holiday on Thursday, November 26, 2020. We will reopen Monday morning, November 30, 2020.
November 18, 2020 – Due to the resurgence of Covid-19 transmission, we are strongly encouraging patients to schedule their appointments via phone or FaceTime. Dr. Wheeler will see patients in person if clinically indicated.
August 12, 2020 – The open enrollment period for the Maryland healthcare exchange has been extended to December 15, 2020. Visit marylandhealthconnection.gov.
July 13, 2020 – We are continuing to offer telehealth appointments for both new and existing patients. If you prefer to be seen in person please let us know and we will accommodate you. We are requiring that masks be worn in the office at all times, and that social distancing be practiced.
June 11, 2020 – Per the Governor’s order, we are now able to accommodate patients in person if clinically indicated. We are continuing to offer telehealth appointments. Please speak to the Office Manager about your particular needs when you schedule your appointment.
May 20, 2020 – The office will be closed on Monday, May 25, 2020, in observance of Memorial Day.
May 7, 2020 – Beginning on May 11, 2020, we will be offering virtual appointments via the Sharecare telehealth platform in addition to phone, FaceTime, and Skype. Please speak with our office manager regarding the option which best fits your needs.
April 29, 2020 – Due to the risk from Covid 19, we are offering appointments to both current and new patients by phone, FaceTime, or Skype. Most insurance companies have made exceptions to their policies to allow reimbursement for these services. Please check with your insurance company for more information about coverage.
